What services does Dynamic Orthopedic Centers have?
Physical Therapy
&
Sports Medicine
Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is a health profession that uses exercise, massage, electrotherapy, and other physical modalities to preserve, enhance, or restore movement and physical function in people with disease, injury, or disability. Physical therapists, or physiotherapists, examine, diagnose, manage, educate, and intervene with their patients to improve their health and quality of life. Physical therapy can also prevent disease and promote health. Physical therapy has a long history of using manual muscle therapy and massage, but it has evolved to include more scientific and evidence-based approaches.
Interventional Pain Management
Interventional pain management is a medical subspecialty that uses minimally invasive procedures to target the source of pain. It can help patients with sub-acute, chronic, persistent, or intractable pain, and reduce the need for oral medications. The procedures can involve injections, nerve blocks, or other techniques that can provide long-term relief and improve the quality of life. Those who practice interventional pain management techniques are known as interventional pain specialists. These individuals have special training in the diagnosis and treatment of all different types of pain. Pain specialists understand the physiology of pain and can evaluate patients with complicated or co-occurring pain problems.
Orthopedic
&
Spine Surgery
Orthopedic surgery is surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. It can diagnose, treat, repair and prevent conditions that affect your bones, muscles and joints. Orthopedic surgery is performed by a medical specialist, such as an orthopedist or orthopedic surgeon, trained to deal with problems that develop in the bones, joints, and ligaments of the human body.
Spine surgery is a procedure performed on your spinal column and surrounding tissue. Spinal surgeons use specialized instruments and materials to manipulate and modify your bones, intervertebral disks, and other tissues. The spine surgeon may opt for an open (traditional) spine surgery procedure, which involves an incision along the backbone.
